Braves have the East on lock for the next few years.

Possibly but I don’t thing the gap is as big as it was compared to a year ago. The Mets new owner is willing to spend big money and the Marlins has a ton of young talent locked down over the next few years. Who the hell knows what kind of product the Phillies will put on the field. The Nationals could be trending a little downward as their pitching is getting older and Their bats are average outside of Turner and Sato.

Astros play in easily one of the easiest divisions..... A's lost too much, Rangers are rebuilding, Angels just suck

NL East is the strongest division in baseball

Marlins have a bunch of good young talent
Phillies have that expensive talent and finally focused on the bullpen
Mets have a solid group and need health from their starters
Nationals have 2 of the top 10 pitchers in baseball when healthy along with two of the most exciting young players in the league

Won the wild card lost in the division series while missing their two best pitchers.... I'd say that is a huge success after finishing at the bottom of the division for the past 15 years.

That with one of the most exciting players in MLB and a stronger pitching staff I would be excited

Good to know not to take your opinion seriously.

Cool one team scores more runs... Score 20 in one game and lose next 3 other team scores 9 runs in those three wins.... But you scored more runs over the series that is what matters right?

Keep trying to rationalize that the Mets have a better offense then the Braves.

You'll be here all day......

I'm just saying, using runs is not a logical argument because it can be skewed so many ways....

As a Braves fan I can understand your hatred of the Mets and the doubt of their offense but it was legit last year and adding Lindor and McCann only makes it better

He is willing to spend $$$. But if its spent in the wrong places then it won't matter. Look at both the Yankees and Red Sox just a couple of years ago. The Dodgers, for as big a payroll as they have, know how to spend it correctly.

The Marlins will fall back to being a 2nd division team. They had the benefit of a short season last year before their lack of depth could catch up to them.

If the Phils didn't fix that pen, nothing else will matter. That pen was an absolute grease fire the last 2 years.

Agreed on the gNats.

A lot of people are overrating the Mets. Big time.

Merlin's lack of depth, those dudes have so many young players ready to step up it is absurd.

Phillips went heavy into the pen while the Braves let most of their pen go on the offseason...

Mets had a top 3 offense in the shortened season and then added Lindor and McCann then added Stroman and Walker to the pitching staff along with possibly the best pitcher in baseball

What makes you think it’ll be spent in the wrong places? Your insecurity here shows that you know the Mets are a legit contender. Better starting pitching, lineup not far off from the Braves.. bullpen still needs help but even that is improved

And the Braves have the MVP(Freddie), Acuna(who's better than Soto and is a legit 40/40 threat), Albies, (who will hit 40 doubles/10 triples/and smash 20-25 HR's and can hit anywhere in the lineup) and Ozuna(who nearly won a Triple Crown and was top-3 in MVP voting). As well as Dansby Swanson, arguably the best clutch bat on the team and a vaccum at SS.
