Yeah, from what I understand he is hurt. I'm not sure how serious it is though. His scholarship is from SLU to second base from what I have been told. The rest of their pitching is average at best.

They never played their likely quarterfinal opponent who just so happens to run shite in 3A.

Who played an equally tough schedule

Thanks for the info. I expect a different game this time as long as my nephew is on.

Catholic BR lost game 1 Friday , but game back and won two today to take out Ruston. Will now face Barbe in the quarters

Good luck with that one, no disrespect to Catholic but after playing Barbe 4 times this year I don't think they will lose 2 out of 3 to anyone.

Agreed. I think that all of the teams remaining on that side of the bracket (Catholic, Dutchtown and St. Amant) could beat Barbe in a single game, but two out of three is a different story. They are really good.

SLU recruited him as a middle infielder/closer type pitcher. I wouldnt be suprised to see him end up an outfielder because he has good speed and great arm.
As of last week, he was out with shoulder pains, but im not sure if it was surgery serious. I think he still DH'd

I obviously think Barbe is better than Catholic, but CHS baseball has become the opposite of CHS football lately,Clutch Won state last year as the lowest seed ever.

surprised that Barbe put up that many runs on him in the 12-3 loss. He's an outstanding pitcher. Of course, Barbe's offense is ridiculous.

Barbe could be around .500 win percentage in some college conferences.

Slight exageration, but they are that good

Yeah, if Conrad goes in the draft, he'll be one of the favorites to take over at 2nd base next season.
