StM had a great team this year and congrats on their D2 championship but they aren't "arguably" the best team in the state. They finished 4th behind Catholic, Holy Cross, and Jesuit at State Dual championships in Jan.
They did finish 2nd at Louisiana Classic. Best part of StM recent success is the have effectively sucked the life out of Tuerling's swagger.

It's not the drive as much as it is the arena as a host venue.

Billy is a nice kid and it sucks that happened in the final at state BUT unfortunately the way he wrestles caught up to him. He likes his head butts.

It was a really weird sequence. Martinez was low coming up as Billy was charging. I can't stand the ref who made the call but I'm not sure what choice he had. I watched the coaches walk Martinez all the way across the arena, unless he's just a fantastic actor, he never looked right.

Still talking that dumb BS. Billy came in second. Check the podium picture and the record books. He isn’t the State Champ because he intentionally head butted his opponent and lost the match because of it. The video doesn’t lie. Sit down and shut up.

I’ve been to plenty of championships as a coach and fan. I love the Century Link in bossier. There’s plenty of room, plenty of parking, and the parents are removed from the wrestlers.
No one needs to go to a different room to see matches like years ago in Kinner…..or the time the fire marshal stopped wrestling asking people to leave bc the crowd got to big. Which no one left.
