I'll say this, that was such an electric atmosphere even on TV. Usually, when both teams are very good it's something else. The 2018 game that UF beat #5 LSU was really loud too.

2019 game was vintage tiger stadium. Loud and raucous. Gator chomp during ohweeoh was epic.

Probably the Oklahona @ Oregon game final seconds:

YouTube

Like Jets taking off in your living room.

Certain stadiums have that loud dull roar, Autzen has that high-pitched squealing dog whistle cacaphony of sound that seems trapped in a vortex. That fact that the stadium is buried in the ground and then the stands just rise up instead of the traditional bowl configuration creates this sound tunnel where sound doesn't escape...like an airplane hanger.

Blocked punt Saints return to dome

Maybe my best sports memory.

There's been a handful of TN moments that stand out in my mind as "loudest moments"(Wilhoit kick, Witten TD in 02' vs Ark in the 6th OT), but there's one that really stands out to me and it's the 01' SECCG. We were in the endzone opposite the LSU band. The dome felt and looked like it was about 80-20 TN to LSU fans. All the orange clad fans were happy at the half and then the tide turned. I've never heard what seemed like a small contingent of fans get that loud for that long. Even the LSU band seemed like it was louder than our band, and I was sitting closer to ours

That’s such a good call. That was wild

We (Iowa state fans) did this at OU in 2017 except it was more like 99.999-0.001 OU to ISU fans and no visiting band.

We took the 38-31 lead with 2 minutes left, and I started waving to all the OU fans starting to leave. All 80 of us in the visitor section were chanting “ISU” and it was echoing so loudly throughout the otherwise silent stadium. It only got louder when Baker and co turned it over on 4th down.

That game is still one of my most fun sports memories. Huge underdogs, starting QB kicked off the team the night before the game, former 3rd string makes his first start because the backup is playing MLB now (though he started playing both ways in this game), went down by 2 TDs almost immediately, and it was 24-13 at half.

Completely dominated the second half 25-7 and won the game. Actually, after going down 14-3 in the first quarter, ISU finished the game 35-17. Just nuts. Then beat TCU. Without dropping some turds against Texas, Ok State, and K State or blowing leads against Iowa and WVU, they could’ve been a dark horse CFP team or at least NY6.
