This is a tad bit hypocritical don't you think?! LSU doesn't have trouble w/ branding......ULL can't decide on what to call themselves. You have to admit that it's a little confusing, especially to people outside state when your university insists on 2 damn names. Your university website says UL-Laffy, yet y'all go postal when people call you that. I swear ULL has the most emotional, sensitive fan base that's always begging for attention. And y'all can't expect people to really take y'all seriously when your mascot looks like an evil fruit o the loom character.

No one gets offended by UL Lafayette. The university says they don't recognize ULL as an abbreviation, that's what they don't like seeing. The university uses University of Louisiana at Lafayette on all academic branding.

The athletic branding has been Louisiana. They use UL Lafayette on the academic side of things. They don't use ULL at all.

That's a question for our public relations department. ULL has never been an officially recognized abbreviation.
You will never see official gear say "ULL".
