Tiger misses his par put and taps in for bogey to fall back to -7.

Levin sinks his par put to stay at -9.

Fowler continues to fall back.

Misses a 5 footer for par and cards a bogey on 8.

Kinda like McElroy was the next tiger.

For the record, it's McIlroy.

Also, even though I'm a big Rory fan, I have never said he will be the "next Tiger". I think he's going to have a huge career. He's only 22 years old. It seems that he relaxed a bit once he attained the World #1 ranking. It's alright, he'll be back.

I agree with you 100%. But too many people were pronouncing him the next tiger when he won the PGA.

He still has a long way to go before he deserves that label.

Tiger putting for birdie from about 20 feet on 9.

Levin left himself about 8 feet for par on 8. He made the put to maintain his 2 stroke lead at -9.

20 footer was a bad judgement by me.

It was actually 35 feet and Tiger putts it within 3 feet. Should make par here and card a 33 on the front.

Um, US Open.

Nobody will ever earn that label. What Tiger did from 1999-2003 will never be touched again. Nobody has to be "the next Tiger".

Yea. Sometimes the "respect" card is played a little too hard.

Tiger starting to struggle. Hooks one into the bunker on 10.

Levin has a short par put left on 9.

Levin makes his par putt. Shoots a 35 on the front.

He seems to be very calm and confident thus far today. We will see what happens on the back though.

Up to this point, Levin is playing better than I thought he would. Have to give him credit.

Tiger leave himself a tricky 18 footer out of the sand to get up and down at 10.

Tiger misses for par on 10 and has to tap in for a bogey. Falls to -6. 3 shots back of Levin.

However, Levin is in trouble on 10 after his tee shot ended up in the bunker.

Levin aggressively goes for it out of the bunker on 10, but it hits the sand coming out and trickles down the fairway. Still quite a bit of work to do.

Tiger finds the fairway on 11, but will have to lay up on the par 5.
