I think if Ole Miss can have success on first down and utilize their hurry up, they will wear down the freaks on Miami DL. Not sure how deep they are there.

Defensivly, idk. Miami will probably try to run the ball more the UGA did to start. Ole Miss needs to hang tough against run.

Ole Miss will have the QB advantage again

Bet you aren't willing to bet that? No way Miami wins by 2 TD's. 2 great games by them doesn't make them a team that will play that good for a 3rd game. Ole Miss played much better in the regular season and it's win against Georgia showed they are still just as good

In other words, miami is the real Cinderella? After all, they did lose to Louisville and SMU back to back but can now somehow manhandle ohio st in the trenches

I agree, when Ohio State went to hurry up in the second half they had success (not sure why tOSU didn't do this earlier). Miami's D-Line is elite!

Miami qb quarterbacked a national championship at GA, was hurt, and took time to regain health and comfort.

Chamblis is NOT better

Ole Miss is playing with a massive chip on their shoulder, and in a way is motivating them to support Golding and giving Lane a big Middle Finger for bailing.

I think this is a legit 50/50 game. Ole Miss has a great offense. Miami has a great Defense. Miami might get the tiny edge because Miami's DL is going to be by far best DL Ole Miss has seen. Ole Miss is completely reliant on Chambliss scrambling to extend plays which he probably won't be able to do on Miami as Miami just destroyed 2 top 5 offensive lines and 2 top 5 teams held to 13 points.

I'd still say 50/50 overall though.

Part of Miami's strength on the DL is their depth and how they can utilize that depth. If Ole Miss goes hurry up, then they cannot sub. A methodical drive keeping the same guys on the field against Miami can work. If you are going hurry up and subbing though Miami has a ton of depth and the pieces can be moved all along the line depending on the situation. Miamis ESV scheme and lagnose is very, very difficult and efficient if the DC can identify his talent and put them in position. OSU did move the ball later in the game, but that was because of elite players making elite plays. Ole Miss has the players to do the same, but if Miami's offense is being efficient. Not great, just efficient. Then Ole Miss will have to have their playmakers making elite plays. That Miami defense is playing at that level currently.

Mad stat

Keep this stat in the back pocket if Penn State ever makes the Fiesta Bowl again...they've never lost the Fiesta and have the most wins...perfect 7-0.
