If it happens I feel like Harper signing first and with the Phillies is absolute worst case for Machado. I think everyone expected the Phillies to go all out for one of them and Harper still had the Nats. I just can’t see the White Sox dishing out a huge contract

or more starting pitching. the upgrade at catcher seems weird since barnhart is serviceable and there are other needs.
