Please show me where I've trolled a baseball related thread or a sports thread for that matter?

I think Greinke's a true ace. A lot of scouts/baseball people feel the same way. I don't think I'm an "idiot" for that.

You accused me of trolling for a starting a thread on the MSB for non Saints fans asking their opinion on the bounty scandal, arguably the biggest NFL story of the past year.

In that thread, I said nothing negative about the Saints and merely stated facts and asked people's opinion.

But somehow that made me a troll.

I never called you an idiot. You went to Jesuit and go to Loyola, you obviously aren't dumb. I said you say dumb shite sometimes, often to get a rise out of people. You trolled Saints fans all last season.

Yeah, posting a Saints thread on the MSB instead of Saints talk isn't setting the bait It's 90% Saints fans on this board. Im sure you didn't know that though. If that's your MO, by all means...

Let's get back on topic.

I just want to throw out there that St Louis leads the National League in almost every single hitting statistic (Runs, RBI's, Batting Average, Hits, OBP, OPS) and by a pretty wide margin in most of them.

Milwaukee is 6th in Runs/RBI's, Cincy is 9th, Pitt 11th. Yes the Astro's and Cubs blow, but San Diego and Miami are actually last in Batting Average in the NL.

In fact, the Cardinals are the only NL team in the Top 6, ahead of the Yankee's and White Sox who are 5 and 6, then you get Colorado because of Coors, Angels, Braves.

You're acting like I started a thread blasting the Saints or mocking them. I didn't. The thread was simply to discuss the sanctions and people's opinion on them.

If I were to venture to Saints Talk during that time, I would have got blasted for giving an opinion, no matter what it was. People over there were butt hurt. You know that.

I think it's pretty shitty that you have to call me out anytime we're posting in the same thread. I have no problem with you, and I don't know what yours is with me.

I love to talk baseball, baseball prospectus, and sports all day every day. Look at my post history. You'll see my posts on this board are informative and educated. Rarely do I say anything idiotic or sarcastic. I do at times, but rarely. I don't ever troll this board to get a rise out of anyone.

ETA: This is what I posted in the thread we're talking about. Idk how any of this would be considered trolling.

Non Saints Fans: General Thoughts on Yesterday's Announcements (Posted on 3/21/12 at 1:35 p.m.)

Things I'm surprised about: - I'm surprised Williams wasn't banned from football as he seemed to be the mastermind behind this - I'm surprised no players (Vilma + Harper) were suspended; however, those could still be coming - I'm surprised that Payton got a whole year. Thought he'd get around 10 games. He's the head man in charge, so I understand it. - I'm really surprised more/higher draft picks weren't taken.

All in All, I think it was a pretty spot on punishment. Saints' management basically payed players to intentionally injure opposing players. I don't see how Saints fans are bitching about Spygate when this is much much worse and more dangerous.

I don't see how Payton keeps his job?
Thoughts on his future with the Saints?
Expected punishments for players?

That's the last I'll say about it.

I agree. Back on topic.

Your baseball talk is fine. You seem knowledgeable. But there is no one baseball team on the MSB that everyone supports, so you can't really troll them even if you wanted to.

You most certainly trolled Saints fans all last season. You can't deny it. I remember you making a bunch of enemies even before that thread. It left a bad taste in my mouth, especially coming from you, who seems to be a smart dude capable of a rational discussion.

It's all good, it's water under the bridge as far as im concerned. I'll back off of you from now on.

What's Harvey's line?

Marte looks like he's gonna finish 2 for 4 with a HR, RBI, R

I'm entitled to my opinion. It's unfortunate that you've called me retarded.

Oh welll...

And yes...Okay, so you have Cincy and St. Louis that are pretty good offenses. Milwaukee is decent. But Pitts isn't that intimidating and fricking Houston and the Cubs suck.

And besides. He gets a fricking freebie out once every nine hitters with the pitcher. He was pretty good for like four months for the Royals and we want to crown his arse?

Give me a break.

You're not off base. Outside of STL, every other NL Central team is in the bottom half of runs scored and batting average.

I'm probably being a little harsh. His FIP is pretty good for all the years of his career.

I just think he's a headcase. And he sucked in the postseason last year. How will he handle Yankee Stadium in October? I think it's a disaster waiting to happen.

I'm sure Hoggie guy will point out that that thought is retarded too.

I did act like grouping Greinke with the best pitchers in baseball was idiotic

Greinke leads the MLB this year in FIP, bruh.

I'm not well versed in FIP. Are there any adjustments for the offenses you face or the leagues you pitch in? Serious question. I'm by no means trolling.

Naw, he doesn't.

Either way, Im not talking about only this year, bruh.

We were talking if he belonged to be grouped in with the elite pitchers you can count on two hands. He doesn't. Group him in the next tier if you wish.

To calculate FIP you end up subtracting by the leaguewide ERA (constant). Fangraphs doesn't distinguish between NL/AL when calculating FIP. I think the difference is usually minimal (.10 or so) which is why they don't bother using two formulas.

You can look at the difference between league ERA and FIP by year at the following LINK.

Milwaukee is #6 in Runs Scored, out of 16, that's bottom half?

Let's break down the National League shall we?

NL East Runs Scored Rank:

Atlanta (3rd)
Mets (4th)
Philly (7th)
Washington (8th)
Miami (15th)

NL Central:

St Louis (1st)
Milwaukee (6th)
Cincy (9th)
Pittsburgh (11th)
Houston (13th)
Chicago (16th)

NL West:

Colorado (2nd)
Arizona (5th)
San Francisco (10th)
LA (12th)
San Diego (14th)

East #1, Central #2, West #3.

It's certainly not a power division, but it has the best hitting team in the NL, and 2 other Top 10's. Not really sure why Cincy is so low, I woulda guessed they would be Top 7. And we all know why Colorado is so high (289 runs at Coors, 178 on road).

Yeah he does at 2.50. He is absolutely one of the best pitchers in the game. Since 2008 he is 5th in fWAR out of all pitchers. If that isn't elite I don't know what is.

BBT can put that "AL is too good of a hitting league for Greinke" bullshite to bed anyway. He's already proved he can pitch in the AL.
