Is there a number where it becomes more imaginable?

My buddy is OCPD and worked the wreck. Her dog was in her lap and got killed too.

Said it was horrible

Monty always seemed like a solid guy.
Family man.

Terrible.

It's crazy how quickly your life can change, and how little control over it we actually have. Really puts things in perspective. This is just tragic and hits close to home. Had a friend die last week in a car accident. RIP

Aye....driving with a dog in your lap. One of those things that people do all the time without incident, but if something tragic happens....yikes.

I'm currently on my emergency department rotation at a level 1 trauma center.

It's sobering how quickly shite can go wrong in a family's life. I've watched people die who thought they had tomorrow guaranteed. Completely preventable deaths, too.

Man that's awful. I never heard a bad word about Monty Williams character. He left under tough circumstances in a very classy manner. Wouldn't wish this on anyone. Prayers out to him. Terrible.

It sounded like another driver crossed into her lane?

I don't think Monty's wife was the one who had the dog in her lap. It was the other driver, the Donaldson, that had the dog in her lap and veered into the other lane.

Correct, the other driver had her dog in her lap, crossed the centerline, and hit Monty's wife head-on. The other driver was dead at the scene. Mrs. Williams was kept alive over night, but passed away today from her injuries.

Wow that's so sad. I always thought highly of Monty and his family, especially after hearing about how he and his wife helped Ryan Anderson when his girlfriend committed sucide.

My prayers are with the Williams tonight.

Good article. It's one thing just to be a coach. Whole other thing to be a man, and truly be there for your players.
