BTW, I still wonder why Ian Johnson isn't higher on draft boards. He's had more production than Wells or Moreno along with better combine numbers.

Or judge players by their individual merits rather than where they played. Worked well when scouts did that with Marshall Faulk and LaDanian Tomlinson...

Well, most of those guys didn't think that Brian Westbrook would be better than most of the guys in his draft class. Most of the scouts didn't think that Marques Colston would be a star. Most of the scouts thought that Chris Johnson and Matt Forte wouldn't be the players that they were.

They were wrong on all of those guys.

Johnson has the measurables, as evidenced by his combine numbers.

He has the resume, as evidenced by his production.

So what is it, other than people falling for the BCS school image?

pretty sure teams don't give a frick about what school you're from. Maybe that factors into the level of competition you produced against, but as for the logo on the helmet?
