Not saying it will happen with Retardideaux,

They had a thread about Cousins at UK. How great he would be in the Pros ONLY if he found the right coach. By that time it should not matter. Think about it.

somewhat, but those SWAC corners don't close near like they do in the NFL. He'll have a hard time adjusting to that. He has the arm-strength to overcome it, but mentally it will be a big challenge. Tennessee was probably the only team he played in his college career that had legitimate NFL athletes.

Agreed Carl. But, the jury is still out. I don't think any LSU fan would say we would have been better off with Hatch, Lee or Jefferson.

There is more to it than that. RP didn't have the confidence of his teammates to do the right thing, Talent aside. As A QB YOU HAVE to have that. I have heard MANY stories about his work ethic and they all sucked. WE may have won a couple of these games BUT may have lost others.

Peej that is nothing but conjecture. LSU certainly suffered because of Perriloux's incredibley bad choices. Young QB's thrown into the cauldron that is the SEC was a disaster waiting to happen. Hopefully the team has grown.

Bilj, I agree with that. Spiller is an elite player.

That pug-nosed gimp Colt McCoy is arguably the most overrated draft prospect in NFL History.

Perriloux didn't play in the SWAC...

I mean, if you want to criticize a player, at least know who he played against. Florida State this year and Georgia Tech last year certainly qualify...

Mccoy is not over-rated.

Guys who's draft stock is under the 4th round that i think could be really good:
QB John Skelton (Fordham)
RB Joique Bell (Wayne State)
RB Lagarrette Blount (Oregon)
RB Keiland Williams (LSU)
RB Curtis Steele (Memphis)
H.Back Dorin Dickerson (Pitt)

How does being the #1 RB on a lot of boards equate to being underrated?

I will throw out Anthony Dixon, RB, Miss. State as one of my picks.

How is a 2nd rounder under-rated?
