Media in Chicago, as well as nationally, as ruled it out, but the players haven't. Sources inside the Bulls practices over the past 2 weeks says he looks like the "old" Derrick Rose.

But who knows really. At this point, I'm assuming hes out.

If he really is the "old" Derrick Rose, I want him to come back. There are no guarantees in this league. Regardless of which way you look at it, hes lost a season. How will this injury affect his prime years in the NBA?

If hes really dominating inside practice, he should play.

If he came back...A Chicago/Miami 2nd round match would be really, really entertaining.

Agreed, heck I wanna see a Miami/Chicago matchup even if hes not playing.

Rose coming back would definitely make the Eastern Conference side of the playoff bracket a lot more interesting.

I'm not scrolling back in this thread...so I'm sorry for any repeat topics...

...but is there any word on all of these injuries of key players?

Faried?
Ginobili?
Amare?

Lots of players banged up, and I'm not sure how serious.

Faried?

I think he messed up his ankle over the weekend or on Monday, but he should be able to play on Sat or Sun.

Ginobili?

Torn hamstring, played 12 mins last night. Not really sure how effective he will be in the playoffs.

Amare?

Probably won't be back till the 2nd round at earliest if Knicks advance.

That's about it as far as playoff teams go. I'm sure you know about Kobe's injury and question marks surrounding Rose's status.

Eta: Steve Nash (hamstring) listed as questionable for Game 1 @Spurs

Yep, pretty sure Nash is a go. Honestly, if the Jazz won last night before the Lakers game, I think Nash would've played against Houston.

Looks like Noah could miss the playoffs based on the latest news today. Has a tear in the plantar fascia.

Should be cool to watch a good team with a shot to make a little run play a home playoff game at MSG for the first time in a while.
