.

if it were up to me it would be LA v Boston in the NBA championship year after year. I can appreciate the history of greatness.

I really don't give a shite who you like, but your only smack talk is that Port likes Houston teams. I grew up in New Orleans; I know what its like to not have a team. I liked watching the Bulls when I was younger, but I didn't like the Bulls.

Don't get your panties in a bunch when someone questions your fandom when YOU are the one who's been talking shite about solely that

I don't care, but you can't really call someone else lame after saying something like that.

FWIW it's team. We didn't have a basketball team in Louisiana so I followed the Rockets. If the Hornets would have been around when I was growing up I would have followed them.

Wade and Amar'e say what we were all thinking:

quote:

“You could tell from the start he wanted to get the MVP,” said Amar’e Stoudemire. “He was not passing the ball at all. That’s Kobe.”

“Kobe was going for MVP tonight,” Dwyane Wade said. “It was that obvious. I think my three-year-old son knew it.”

Wait, so now Kobe is being slammed for trying to be the most valuable player and winning the game? What stopped anyone else from 'trying' to be the best? Laziness? Lack of heart/competitiveness?

Wade has no business saying anything. Kobe owned him like a child. Watching Wade try to play defense on Kobe was some funny shite. Kobe abused the guy on offense and defense. Total, total fricking mismatch.

Of course Wade gets his nightly "injury" to avoid any more abuse. Kobe got Lebron on about 3 straight possesions too. Im no huge Kobe fan but he came to play some ball.

it looked like a pretty legit injury.

But Kobe played awesome nonetheless.

Total shooting %, he made up a stat.

Add up FG%/3pt%/FT%, without placing ANY weights on any of em, and apparently that is one of the ONLY 2 stats that matter in basketball, LOL.

He basically regards shooting 80% from the FT line as being the exact same as shooting 80% from the field and 80% from the FT line.

Brilliant!!!

He also called Kobe a more efficient scorer than Lebron despite that fact that Kobe takes more shots and scores less points.

Brilliant.

It was an ALL STAR game where no one tries on defense, do you not realize that?

The way Wade D'ed up Kobe in the regular season game is just a tiny little bit more indicative than an ALL STAR game.

Its like the boy who cried wolf to me. The guy will lay on the floor for 20 minutes virtually every game then come back in 4 minutes later. If he gets fouled and goes to the floor he NEVER pops right up.

Wheelchair for shoulder injury.

He was on the floor right after the game yucking it up and didnt look like he was in pain but then again who knows with Wade?

Did you read something different than what I posted dumbass? I was talking about the All Star game, not about the regular season. Do you not realize that?

Well, that's the complete opposite of what happened when they actually played a real game this season. Wade dominated Kobe.
