I think at this point Stephenson is becoming a bit underrated. He had a really good season and is still young. Yeah, he "challenged" Lebron. So what...I think 10 mil year is actually a good deal for him.

Easily. The guy is 23, all of his /40 numbers went up in what was a lackluster year for the Pacers in terms of offensive production. I think he would be a great fit in other offenses that move around a little more

Would love a backcourt of Ellis and Stephenson

Carlisle would get that to work somehow

Will Gortat get a bigger contract than Bosh?

I love Jim Carrey and if we didn't have it, I wouldn't even suggest this, but he could definitely find a way to get those two to work

Probably not, but he's still overpaid IMO.

he'd be a great fit in dallas IMO

he really evolved as a threat in the PnR game.

Damn. Bradley got paid, wasn't expecting that big of a contract.

Our PnR game should be even better with Chandler back and you always have the PnP with Dirk as well.

Normally I wouldn't want Monta as our starting PG but having two ballhandlers in the backcourt could take off that pressure.

I'm definitely on the boat for the Mavs to target 2-3 top players instead of going after Melo, and Stephenson is definitely one of my hopefuls

Looks like Melo to Bulls will not happen if Broussard's sources are correct.

NY won't accept Boozer as part of a Sign and Trade. Knowing how cheap Reinsdorf is, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't amnesty Boozer.

if the Bulls amnesty Boozer and dump Dunleavy, would that be enough to get em in position to sign Melo? is he insistent on an absolute max, or would he take a few million less? I'm a little behind on the rumor mill.

Melo would have to be willing to take about $15 mill per season

They would have to amnesty Boozer, and trade away Dunleavy/Snell (probably)

Supposedly he won't accept 15 million. Dumping Boozer gives about 14-15 million to start with. They may have to get rid of Jimmy Butler for this to work.

Either that or Mirotic (best player in Europe currently) and draft picks.

But again the Bulls FO is one of the cheapest FOs in the NBA. If they actually land Melo, I'll be shocked.

I'd totally forgotten about Gordon. guess he wanted a pay day over possibly chasing a ring.
