Check CNet reviews. They test and rank them a tell you what’s good and what’s not.
So why are they changing the name back to Reliant? What’s the reason?
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It’s just the opposite. The Big 10 can only compete when they pay players because the best talent naturally resides in the South and they naturally went to SEC schools before it was legal to pay players.

Now that players are paid, the best players go wherever they are paid rather than go to an SEC school.

Also, before the transfer portal, there was so much talent in the South that the best SEC schools were two and three deep at every position. Now with the transfer portal, SEC backups go elsewhere to start, thus weakening SEC teams, and it’s a double whammy if they transfer to a Big 10 school.

In other words, Big 10 can only compete with these new rules that move the natural talent in SEC country elsewhere.
So Dumars is going to sacrifice long-term winning for short-term mediocrity. Just absolutely moronic.
Gee, a Euro professor figured out a way to work some numbers to try to make Europeans look better and Americans look worse. How riveting.

Yes everyone loved seeing automatic outs.
Honestly, he probably can see that the Pelicans are either going to be rebuilding and be shite for 3 years or are not going to be rebuilding and be shite anyway.

They should keep Borrego around and let him coach a rebuild as no proven coach who wants to win a title wants to tank.

Malone is someone you hire in 3 years once this thing is getting turned around and it’s time to start winning.
That’s how the timelines always are. Really bad for 2 or 3 seasons, then make a jump to around 40 wins or so in year 3 or 4, then make the jump to 50 wins and start seriously competing at the top of the conference in year 4 or 5.

They all did the same thing. And none of them had anything other than and of bench vets when they were really bad. Only when they transitioned to trying to win did they add solid vets.

And they all traded away their valuable veterans when they went into rebuilding mode.

This, some folks never take this into account.

I've seen earlier in the season "trade everyone but Fears/Queen and tank for 3 seasons" but you can't do that.

You won't be able to teach your young assets good habits on and off the floor if everyone on the team stinks and is just a temporary placeholder.

You need vets, AND you need players good enough to see at least some benefits for your hard work paying off with a taste of success and wins...just a little something.
OKC, San Antonio, Houston, Detroit, etc… basically none of those successful rebuild teams had anything but end of bench vets during the years they were really bad. They only added vets when they were back on their way up when it was time to start winning.
That’s why you take other team’s bad contracts for picks. You gotta trade the players with value.

And you’re right.. Dumars probably won’t do what needs to be done.
quote:

I think you still need veteran presence - that's why I'm keen on keeping Bey, Murphy, and Jones.

Murphy - 25 entering his prime
Jones - 27 in his prime
Bey - 27 in his prime
Why in the world would players entering their primes want to stick around for a complete rebuild?

These are exactly the players that need to be traded. Players with value.

Stop thinking in terms of winning. That’s not the goal. The goal is to collect as many assets as possible.
Parents decided it was better to not get into his personal life.

I wonder why people like this make these wild predictions, and then when it inevitably doesn’t happen, everything they’ve ever said will be easily dismissed by skeptics.

It’s like they want to destroy whatever credibility they have.

Yes and this is where we disagree because no where in the Bible or in anything Jesus taught did he tell us to pray to his mother.
I like how you responded to everyone else and when I answered your reply to me, you conveniently chose not to respond to me because it’s devastating to your point.

Show me Bibically where Jesus started the Catholic Church?

Matthew 16:18-19
“And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Jesus gave Peter the authority to make decisions on behalf of the church. “Bind” means forbid and “loose” means permit. He’s essentially declaring him head of the church. That church, started by Christ, who appointed Peter as its head, has an unbroken line of leaders, which came to be called “popes”.

quote:

I'll even ask where in the Bible it says we should pray to Mary, angels, etc? The Bible is very clear; though shalt serve, pray and believe in no other but Me (Father, Son and Holy Ghost).
We don’t pray TO Mary or anyone else but God. We ask that Mary, for example, pray FOR us. There’s a difference.
Why do I feel like this is going to be another instance where we read about some amazing breakthrough on here and then nothing ever comes of it?
For those who don’t know, his name is Tim Dick. Allen is his middle name.
quote:

Nothing in the Bible tells us to worship saints, angels or even to pray to anyone except the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Except Jesus started the Catholic Church and made Peter essentially the first pope. Catholicism is literally the religion started from Jesus Christ.
