Kobe and Duranchala lead LeBron in scoring this year fwiw.

This is why they will be 2 and 3 in the MVP voting.

It's D Wade's team.

aka LeBron isn't even the best player on his team at the end of games!

Kobe also averages 24 shots a game. Lebron averages 18 shots per game. Give Lebron 6 more shots at 55% and his ppg Avg would be 34 a game.

I mean Lebron is definitely the MVP so far. But I dont know why you dropped the GTFO. Dudes right, at the end of the game its D Wade they want to go to. Pretty much everybody and their momma knows that.

Why do you have Kobe on the list and not Durant? Kobe scores one point per game higher but he takes four more shots a game than Durant and they make about the same. Durant also rebounds better. Just curious.

I'd say cp3 is having a better year than Howard and Aldridge. Howard averages basically a 20 and 15(rebounds). He is top 5 in blocks per game too. Cp3 averages 20 and 8(assists) and is second in steals. I mean its almost a push (id give the nod to cp3 given how much better he has made the Clips) so I dont see how howard could be 4 on your list and cp3 not even deserve to be in the discussion.

Kobe also hits game winners on the reg.

I do agree he needs to start feeding the two headed monster down low though.

FGA per 48 minutes in the last 5 minutes of close games

Wade: 25
James: 23
Bosh: 21

Damn... You're right. The Heat totally rely on Wade late in games.

It's LeBron in a run-away.

Yeah Lebron had probably 6 or 7 in the last 5 minutes of the game the other night. But with one shot left Lebron misses and openly defers to Wade. I didn't say they rely on Wade more than Lebron at the end of the game, get your qoutes straight, but it's a given that Wade is who they feel comfortable with. If you ask Sapultra if he had a choice with 5 tics left and he can only choose one, he's going Wade no doubt.

To be consistent here, wade deferred to Lebron on the biggest shot of the game the last game they played.

How is it "no doubt" when they clearly split that duty? Spo goes to LeBron about as much as wade.

Finals last year. /debate

Go look at end of game stats. He isn't clutch. Yes he's the best player in the world. But needs a sports psychologist or a team of them.

Oh, missed four of their games this year fwiw.

Go through all the clutch stats you want. What's your definition of clutch? 1 shot at the end of a game? That's the dumbest criteria ever. Go through NBA stats cube and see LeBron's clutch numbers against anybody's in the league. Clutch is more than just shooting percentage. To limit to that is asinine. And even his shooting percentage in the clutch is better than Kobe, Wade, and others.

But let's keep this narrative going all we want. The bar just keeps moving. He dominates the Celtics and Bulls and is clutch, and then sucks against the Mavs, and he isn't clutch again. Our idiotic perception bias is what's responsible, not LeBron supposedly wilting in the "clutch."

lol What a joke. Dirk didn't even have that good a series against Miami. The one really good game he had against Miami, Dallas lost. Hell in Game 6 he was 9 for 27 for 21 points. It's funny how we mythologize players simply because their teams win a series, and not based on how well they actually played during the series.

Dallas won the series because their shooters got super hot, and Tyson/Marion played great defense. So Dirk is considered clutch, even though Dallas won that series for other reasons than Dirk.
