this is pretty fun . the high slot is still free goals
much like real NHL I guess. so im ok with it.

im not sure why NHL 19 is getting the hype/ratings. I was pretty disappointed.

Thats just one of the reasons. 19 is too much like 17. Not that 17 was bad, I just wish two years later the game was more improved.

I skipped 18 and do have to agree, 19 is a lot like 17.
I adapted to the penalty shite pretty quick after one game thankfully. I had 10 penalty minutes in game1 before realizing I cant just wildly flail my stick around looking for poke checks
all the advanced deking stuff is a bit too complicated for me as I get blown up and injured anytime I try to get too cute . it will come with time I suppose
it does a good job of letting me familiarize myself with rosters and scratch the hockey itch for the upcoming season, so im content

If Blues get average goaltending from Shakey Jakey, they will be one tough muther.

In NHL 19, I hate that you can have the puck, someone tap you from behind, and you lose all momentum, lose the puck, etc. It makes little sense. Also hate that just because your stick gets near someone's skate, they fall down and you get a tripping penalty.
