Maple Loafs/Golden Knights has been very entertaining.

Bruins erupt for 10 goals.
I saw this coming. I knew the league would throw a bone to Utah sometime soon. I like BYU's stadium, but it's going to be headed to Rice Eccles Stadium.

Friedman is saying the Golden Knights will be in it next year as the road team.
No. It's a sports city like all others that has plenty of support when the on field product warrants it. Blues games have drawn well for decades. And the Battlehawks have led their league in attendance last year. The MLS team has had plenty of support as well.
But the same holds true for all the other leagues. And they still want to expand.
You're completely right. But the league apparently doesn't want to expand. So it likely never happens. It's interesting MLB, NHL, and NBA wants to expand. But the NFL curiously doesn't when expansion fees would dwarf all the other leagues.
Rotating the event throughout the league only grows the game. The same old teams playing every year is boring as frick. I'm in favor of Utah getting a game sometime in the near future.
Many football stadiums are still in use this time of year. So it's not going to be feasible in all markets. And putting the game in the same old cold weather markets will get stale quick.
So what's your solution? I would rather watch the event rather than some 2nd or 3rd tier bowl game.
I didn't know she was still with them. After she stopped working college football games, I never heard from her again.

I wish jafo still posted here. I remember years ago he said he was done with the Chiefs if they ever crossed the border.

What did we do to run off Quintana? Or did he get banned?

Sidney Crosby broke Mario Lemieux's franchise scoring record with a goal and an assist in the first period of the Pittsburgh Penguins' 4-3 shootout win over the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday night.

Crosby, who began the night one point behind Lemieux, now has 645 goals and 1,079 assists for 1,724 points in 1,387 games. It also moved him past Lemieux for the eighth-most points in NHL history.

I never thought he had the arm to sniff a NFL field. I wish him nothing but the best.

Stamkos with 4 goals. Avalanche putting a beat down on the Panthers.
TNT and ESPN with doubleheaders for the next 3 nights.

The Winnipeg Jets and Montreal Canadiens will play an outdoor game next season.

The NHL announced Saturday the teams will face off in the Heritage Classic at Winnipeg's Princess Auto Stadium. The event set for Oct. 25 will be the league's eighth Heritage Classic and first since 2023.

I miss Beano Cook. Wasn't he always Florida St's biggest proponent?
