King's powerplay is deadly and Vancouver has the worst PK in the playoffs. King's powerplay is over 60 percent which is incredible.

All of the Eastern series are 3-1; pretty crazy considering each was at 1-1. Two of the home teams (NJ and Buf) have shown that losing on home ice was no fluke, while the other two (Pens and Caps) took the first game as a wakeup call and have been dominant. Barring an epic choke by the Flyers AND Bruins, the Caps/Pens won't happen until the conference finals and that's how it should be IMO. A trip to the Stanley Cup on the line; that's as good as it gets. Of course, it would be foolish to look past the Flyers/Bruins considering they would have just come off upsets of higher ranked teams.

In the West, we've already got two series at 2-2. The Kings have a chance to grab the commanding 3-1 lead if they can hang on in the 3rd. And we'll have to wait to see what happens with the Hawks-Preds, but all the momentum is with Nashville.

Nashville-Detroit WCF

And yes, the Kings PP is ridiculously good. Luongo has actually done quite well 5 on 5, but they're getting torched shorthanded. He's got to be able to make some of those saves. He played pretty well in Vancouver, but has really struggled in the LA games (which is consistent with how he performed there in the regular season).

I agree about the East. I can't make much sense of the West, but I do think the winner of Detroit-Phoenix will make it to the conference finals. I'll be very interested to see how SJ plays in the next round IF (and that's a big one) they advance.

Wow, what a 3rd period. Canucks back in the lead, but still plenty of time for an equalizer.

Nice comeback for Vancouver. I had them pegged to go to the conference finals in my original predictions so it's nice to see that they at least have a chance of getting out of the first round

Screw the Canucks! Go Kings!

Luongo actually looked very good last night, which is a little disconcerting, but I still think the Kings win it in 7.

Hey the Sedin's showed up finally.

Yeah this...and Ovie too...so Canucks regain home ice advantage, at times they looked unorganized and showed no conpunction for work along the boards or in front of the net...That Redwings series is looking good too....

Luongo has taken the mantle from Turco as the unofficial Best Goalie You Wouldn't Want On Your Team In the Playoffs Because He's Such a Headcase. I don't trust him at all, though the Sedins are downright awesome.

Man, what's up in Chicago? I thought having Keith in the blueline could hide a lot of depth issues, but they have looked awful and disinterested. They can still rebound, but the Hawks have to show up for these games.

The Caps probably played their worst game of the series last night and still won easily. This was the one game spent in the Caps own end for large periods of time. But that Ovie guy is pretty good. The goal with 10 seconds left in the 2nd was huge, though. Probably won the series on that goal.

You are right, and I knew the series was over SH goal when Montreal had finally taken Mo. WTF were they thinking? All they had to do was get out of the period with a 1 goal difference play out the PP at the beginning of the 3rd and they were a good bounce from winning that game...J Martin is a dillhole...

New Jersey is terrible. Down 2-0 to a Philly team missing Carter and Gagne.
