Our PK is 2nd in the league at 88.4% since Julien was hired.

So refreshing to have Claude back instead of pigface.

The CBJ Pittsburgh game tonight should be fantastic. 2/3 seed implications.

Should be a nice preview of a heated playoff series.

13 games tonight. no Stamkos for TB vs Bos

and here's an ovi quite re: Olympics

"Yeah, I didn't change my mind and I won't," the Washington Capitals superstar captain told a huge media scrum after the morning skate at Air Canada Centre.

"Because it's my country," Ovechkin added. "I think everybody wants to play there. It's the biggest opportunity in your life to play in the Olympic Games. So, I don't know, somebody [is] going to tell me 'don't go,' I don't care, I just go."

Wonder if the league changes their tune when one of their biggest stars doesn't play for a month.

someone is going to flinch, in this game of chicken.

apparently, the IOC paid a $14 million "supplement" for travel and insurance, to get NHLers to play in the 2014 games. they denied doing that this year.

if the NHL isn't in 2018 they wont be in 2022 apparently either.

sure would be fun being able to root for Auston Mathews in a USA jersey

Funny stat I found

LINK

This dude has 105 points in 28 games in Denmark's 2nd division. For reference, he has more assists than the next guy has points.

As you can see, his USHL stats were nothing to write home about.

last i looked it was 3-0. blue coats better hope this is no example of what will happen in playoffs. if so they could be in deep shite. pens have been there and done that with some of those guys having played for 3 cups already. you can't substitute playoff experience. this will be uncharted waters for blue coats.

they are 0-2 in their playoff series history.
