Kuznetsov and Tarasenko say hi. Panarin is looking pretty great, too. They have some serious talent still coming over here. I'd still take Tarasenko if forced to choose any of them.

The Bolts are nearly eliminated as the Caps blow a sigh of relief. the one team they did not want to face in the first round was a scorching hot Tampa team with a healthy Stamkos. That would've been no usual 8 seed. They waited too long to get their stuff together, but the Bolts are playing better than anyone right now, and they are so stacked with talent.

Almost no drama in the final week then. There's a fight in the Atlantic to not fall into the WC2 slot, and the same with the Preds and Blues out West (or any WC slot, really). But it looks like the field is pretty much set, and the four division winners are nearly locked in.

Capitals rags on nbcsn.

Caps are so fun to watch. Their posession and cycling in the offensive zone is top notch.

Ovi also has been very physical lately.

The Caps are a lock to end their run of misery now that they have several Blues castoffs.

you are talking about the biggest chokers in NHl playoff history. When they lift the cup, i will believe the curse is broken. They are a lock for nothing. Nobody is.

More accurately, Okposo is in Boston General Hospital's Neuro Surgical Intensive Care Unit. I hope they're able to diagnose and quickly treat whatever it is that is troubling him. Sounds really bad.

Goal light operator was asleep at the wheel (or maybe asleep ON the button) but it was going off behind Holtby for the last like 40 seconds. It started from a faceoff too with no shot involved.

Don't the Blues get a higher draft pick if Capitols go deep in the playoffs?

Methinks you missed the joke there. Because obviously adding players from the Blues is a recipe for a success, as the Blues have no star-crossed existence either...

President's Trophy. Yay. Only two teams have won consecutive President's Trophies. The other? The Canucks. Well, that makes me feel better.

Wow, Vlad Sobotka sings his option contract, which turns into a 3 year extension with Blues.

They will get him for playoffs, he's having his physical right now
