Wilson didn't do anything to Malkin. It was Williams who put him in a headlock and flipped him to the ice, which, frankly, was excessive and rightfully penalized, even if you're doing it to stand up for your goalie. It was a chippy game.

Crazy and entertaining 2nd period in Nashville.

Hawks' pk is garbage. They've given up 6 power play goals in first two games. It looks like they lack depth as well

Yeah, this preds team plays a lot faster this year (at least in game 1) hopefully we keep this up!

Preds started sluggish but really showed off the upgraded speed in the 2nd period. Hawks couldn't stay out of penalty box and Preds made them pay.
Rinne did well to settle in and made some big saves in the 3rd. Haven't seen an update on Bitetto but hopefully it's nothing serious. Got his arse whipped by Tootoo.
