This was my favorite. It takes more than an unofficial name to not be perceived as a "small tiny directional school." I'm not sure about the administration, but the Ragin Pagin community seems to be more obsessed with outward appearance than the actual quality of the athletics program.

They don't have to use the hyphen though, instead of a hyphen, they can cleverly place a little FDL right in the middle.

Except, y'know, LSU A&M at BR is nationally recognized as LSU (and in some cases ULSU). UL-L is not nationally recognized as UL but wants to be, which is fine. It is just that they have been extremely snobby about it.
Not to mention the fact that LSU A&M at BR is the flagship school of the LSU system, while UL-L is not the flagship school of the UL system.
