Seeing Rafa between +155 and +160, Daniil about -185.

That stinks. But a pretty cool moment to watch.

I think I could watch Barty hit backhands for hours straight.

Nice run from Collins. I am still trying to understand why Barty is so good when she is not physically imposing. The backhand slice must cause players problems. Chris McKendry from ESPN said Barty can get two feet off the ground on her serve.

I have $50 on Rafa at 5-1 to win the tournament. But, I am slightly rooting for Medvedev because it doesn't feel right that Rafa would break the record without Djokovic at the tournament.

I put a small play on Medvedev.

I really don't know what is going to happen. Rafa was apparently a mess physically at the end of the Shapo match and I guess his foot problems are lingering. So, you would think a long grinding match will be too much. But, Medvedev doesn't seem to love marathons, although he is getting better in five set matches and is ten years younger than Rafa. I think Rafa will take advantage of Medvedev's ridiculous court positioning. Watch for a lot of Rafa serve and volley and angles on the groundstrokes.

Oh, by the way, Nick and Kokk are your 2022 Australian Open doubles champions.

Anyone else up to watch the final? Slept a little bit but I’m up with coffee and ready to go. Go Rafa!

Figured this is the last shot Rafa will get at this. May be over rather quickly if he can't adjust.

He isn't winning another championship if he doesn't win this one!

That's a wrap. He should just skip Australia from here on out. Doesn't have the game to win it again.

Number 1 player got booted out. Nadal is slipping. New waves of players are here and are getting much better. I am seeing it. I watch tennis all the time.

Medvedev would see to be the favorite in Paris even against Rafa is Novak is banned from
France. Looks significantly faster and more fit than Rafa at this point
