rams are talking to titans about #2 pick

I heard Rams are dangling Brockers out there for a top10 pick, possible package to move up to #2??.

Although that's overvaluing Brockers, the idea of it leaves little doubt the staff in TEN (coaching and front office) have no interest in a developmental QB, or st least not Mariota.

No. 2 is getting dealt for sure.

Undraftable because the cops want to talk to him?

Have you not listened to the radio or anything today?

Scout after scout after scout has come on and said he is almost certainly off virtually every team's boards completely if there is no signficant clarification.

Its not worth the risk or PR nightmare.

Are you joking? There are stories every year of players asking teams not to draft them as they tumble down the boards.

Give me one.

And Russell Shepperds lying arse doesn't count.

Bull. fricking. shite.

He's dreamed of getting his name called all his life. He's not thinking "oh frick getting drafted, I want to be undrafted!"

And he's certainly not telling teams that he doesn't want to be drafted.

Once again, if he's not drafted in the first few rounds his agent will advise him that he's better off as a UDFA.

This is quite common.

I'm not talking about the first 3 rounds. If he's still available in the 5th, he would rather control his own destiny.

You honestly have not heard that before? I don't know what to tell you. They mention it in every draft on day 3. Every year.

Okay, I'd like some proof

There's a difference between "it might be a better situation at his point for guys to go undrafted than to get drafted late"

And

"This guy is calling teams and telling them not to draft them"

Been a lot of smoke about Brockers being dealt. Rams think he is only going to be a 2 down DT at this point.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him dealt.

Believe whatever you want.

All I'm saying is, the chatter on every show I've listened to today is that he probably will not be drafted.

Florio came out and guaranteed that he would not be drafted tonight, and then said he is completely undraftable and unsignable, and he didn't think he would be with a team at all until he is totally exonerated. Florio may be a douche but not only is he a lawyer, but he actually does have legit connections.

By the way, google yielded no results for me on a player who asked teams not to draft him

They must have also asked google not to put links up about them doing it

Scoopage: Agent for LSU's La'el Collins trying to pull him from this draft allowing him time to clear his name then enter Supplemental Draft

It isn't some random dude. I've heard several former execs, NFL insiders, former scouts all same the same thing: He should not be drafted and they don't see how he could be at this point.

Again, I would draft him unless I had more information. But NFL teams are extremely paranoid.

This happened at the worst possible time in the worst atmosphere in the league. With Hernandez and Ray Rice and all of this crap, teams cannot take a major risk.

And Collins' team has handled this horrendously. They needed to get ahead of it. They've done nothing.

The only thing we don't know is how much NFL security has churned up and how much they know.

I turned on NFL network last night to see if they had any good info for the draft

What I got was Rick nussiamer playing guitar and signing about players that get stuck in the green room on draft day

Seriously.

maybe but if Collins had an opportunity to prove his innocence in due short time, he much rather become a UDFA where he could have a small bidding war for his services rather than be locked into a 3 yr shite head deal. I know this not from google, i know it bc i'm not a dummy.
