simma down my man
obviously that depends on a variety of variables (as you know im sure). my first two options (considering my previous reads on the players on my table) would be to either smooth call from the SB and then bet out the flop, no matter what is dealt. OR too raise over the top of the previous said raise and play the hand as if it were AA or KK. if i had been a nit the entire tournament, that is the option i personally would have chosen. again, i can safely assume blanoix made the right play considering the situation.
you are right, i did use incorrect terminology. i should have stated it as poker elitists, and for that i apologize on the confusion. i do get slightly irritated at those who claim to know all when it comes to poker, especially considering the complex dynamics of how the game can be played and interpreted.
sadly and unfortunately i did. it was my only source of income while in undegrad, my only option was to report it.
i banked most of my money on party, and a little through stars, it is doubtful we played together considering the small stakes i chose to play. NL50, 20sng, 27 turbos etc...
it wasnt you.

makes you a "pro" is when you depend on a certain activity for your primary source of income

Because if poker was your primary source of income then you filed your W2's as a profesional poker player. Correct?
