I've followed his twitter today and two days ago and he writes nothing about any hand he's played that has shown him playing tight.

If you could list a few examples I would love to be proven wrong. C&P one from his twitter that shows he is obviously just playing to cash on day 2 of the main event

Just caught AA. Shorter stack opened to 3k. I 3 bet from the cutoff to 9500. Didn't think he could fold his stack after opening to 3k

yeah ive decided to quit playing online unless i try to satelite into the main event next year.. did you play at the Horseshoe right over the Indiana border in Elizabeth?
yeah, i took the roll i sort of built at el do and built it up a little bit there

So by Malone 3 betting from the cutoff with AA and the original raiser folding... Malone is playing tight

cool. I liked it up there went up there for 3 or 4 days played in some wsop circuit events .. got 11th in one.. only time I've literally blinded out of the tournament my cards were dead and everytime i wanted to make a move someone acted in front of me with a raise

i said it was a tight play and he also said it was a tight play.
now, i really do think you are fn blind, because i never once said "bad"

This is what you are referring to. It was one hand which is the only one in his entire log from twitter over the past few days that could be read as someone just trying to get into the money if you have no idea wtf this tournament is all about.

The guy who raised to 4k has been soooooo tight alllll day. We will wait for a better spot. Just didn't like being out of position.
about 2 hours ago from TwitterBerry Just folded AK out of sb. I'm such a nit. Utg+1 limped. Cutoff raised to 4k. I would have reshoved the cutoff. He had 16k total. Limper suck
100-400-800 level SS under the gun limps and the pot gets 3 bet by the cutoff to 4 1/2 times the BB. He made the absolute correct decision there laying down AK from the SB out of position to a short stack who more times than not sets up that limp to push. Not to mention if he flats and the SS does fold he is now playing his hand out of position to an obviously agressive player.

It's definitely tougher, it seems.
I played a bit around the same time, 2004 to 2006 or so.
I was a casual player, lower cash games and $5 buy ins. I'd keep around $500 in my account and withdraw about $200 every month or so. I did well at the lower amounts, at least I thought so.
Now, I suck, lol. I deposited $100, and in about 3 hours I doubled it to $200. I thought i was back and this would be easy. About a month later, i'm running on fumes and probably have about $10 left. I'm still having fun playing, so i'm deciding if I wanna just take a break and figure out how to be good again, or deposit another $100, and try PokerStars this time.
I complain about losing, but I just cant quit playing. I'm determined to figure out how to start doing better again.
