yeah that line of thinking is how casinos make money yet magically I'm up 28 units on the weekend.

What will happen when LSU is up 38-10? They run the ball at will. They hung 63 against Idaho last year without a good offense. Teams like this aren't able to stop LSU when they get up big even when LSU puts in their "second team". Terrance Magee had 95 yards and 2 TDs against TCU. He was our 4th RB heading in to the season. If you don't like the line, don't take it. LSU may not cover, but I would expect LSU to win this game by 40+.

You're up 28 units on the weekend because you don't know what the frick a unit is.

Keep thinking that way. Just look at the first week's results, say "hey this team did this against this team, and the next team they play isn't as good, so they have to win by even more". I work at one of the largest sports books in the world, but keep thinking you know better.

Exactly. Any one team can beat any other team any given Saturday.

I would pick LSU to cover but why bet that line when you have so many other bets that seem surer?

I wouldn't laugh. You shouldn't be betting any more than 1-1.5U or 1-2% of your bankroll per play other than a handful of times per year.

If you're wagering multiple units often, your "unit size" needs adjusting or you have poor money mangement.

I dont start with a bankroll

I bet and hopefully win week 1 and thats what I use and try to build on that.

if you are wagering multiple "units" all the time than your "unit" isn't really your "unit"

people get so caught up in this unit bullshite

Depends on what your purpose of betting is. I've only been betting a few years but quickly learned I'm not interested in betting purely for entertainment which many here do. It's nearly impossible to toe the line long term between fun and winning.

I'd rather not post where I work or what I do on here (not that it's super secretive or important) because people have gotten in trouble for just talking about work on social media. But if you're ever coming out here email me.
