This one really sucks, he was a great guy. I was friends with his son growing up and every Wednesday night was poker night at the Garner house. We were high school kids who’d bring boxes of quarters and our best Swisher Sweets and act like adults for a few hours. He kept his replica World Series trophy from the Pirates on a random chair around the pool table.
One of my favorite memories was while visiting family in Baltimore my uncle got us tickets to the Brewers Orioles game and had no idea I knew Mr Garner. I went to the bathroom between innings and on my way back I walked down by the dugout and Phil was standing out front so I yelled to him and he told me to come back after the game and he’d get us down in the clubhouse.
So after the game we went to leave and I told my uncle we should go down to the clubhouse instead. I found Phil and he had a team official take us to a private elevator where Bob Ueker was waiting. We hopped on and went and hung out with all the Brewers players and the whole time my uncle was just wide eyed looking around like what the frick is going on.

My dad was in town this weekend so I went down to the strip for the first time in a while and was actually surprised how busy it was. Steakhouse at the Wynn was packed Friday night, and walking the strip was crowded.
Last night I went down to gamble with him and places like Paris, Planet Hollywood and Hardah’s were all packed at 9pm on a Sunday. Usually the weekend before the Super Bowl is dead but I think the Sphere is carrying a lot of places with people seeing the Eagles, Wizard of Oz etc.

I would be shocked if this guy hid his treasure in a national park after the troubles with Finn’s treasure possibly being in a national park. It’s illegal to remove anything from a national park which is why most people think the guy who found Fenn’s treasure won’t disclose the location he found it.

I’ve been in Vegas for 14 years, the last 6 in Summerlin and I love it. If you’re gonna be stationed at Nellie’s I’d highly recommend Centennial Hills over Summerlin though. It’s basically Summerlin north and you’ll have a lot easier drive to Nellis.

Ive rewatched the American tits bit about 10 times and the part where Shane asks how many more retards are in the back and their reactions. They did improv in character for 2 straight hours and it’s better than anything SNL has done in 15 years.

Wide area progressives like this are paid out by the company that manufactures the machines, usually IGT, not the casino. Like the lottery you can choose to take 20 year annuities or a smaller lump sum.
Last year I had a lady hit a 1.2 million progressive and she was pissed when IGT told her she’d be getting $60k a year for 20 years. “Well what if I don’t live another 20 years?”. “Then you’ve got bigger things to worry about.”
She ended up getting around $800k in a lump sum.
But yeah in this case, Bally’s wouldn’t have to pay a dime to this lady if she won, so they have zero reason to make up a malfunction.
