Saw a few pages back that a few people liked the under in the tulsa game tonight. Been looking at that and tech tonight(hoping this gets down to 7 or lower, but still might play it at the 7.5 that my book has it at right now). Anyone else got some thoughts on these two games tonight?
I haven't seen either team play but I have heard from a lot of ISU fans just how much their offense sucks. Revolves around WR screens and runs up the middle. Questionable play calling as well.
ISU usually has a respectable defense with their coach.
With that said, I am completely ignorant on Tulsa other than Bobbyray saying earlier in this thread that they aren't as good as people thought they would be.
ETA: but yes, I will most likely be on the under.

VT usually does well enough on D against the triple option

And there's really not much to prepare when you've been playing against the same GT offense for years.

At home yeah, but not in Atlanta.

Tracked all of my posted plays from this seasons threads this morning. I've had my best start in years so I figured I would start keeping track of my posted plays like I did in our basketball thread last year.

what makes you like TULSA?
I'm going to have to trust my numbers on this one.
Iowa State's offensive line play has been putrid, Allowed 10 tackles for loss and 4 sacks against FCS Northern Iowa. For a non BCS school Tulsa has been decent on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball for a few seasons.
They played twice last season, Iowa State won by 14 at home in a game that Tulsa committed 6 turnovers to the Cyclones 1. Tulsa won the rematch in the liberty bowl by 2 touchdowns. Only way I see this game being close is if Tulsa starts turning the ball over, and I'm no good at predicting turnovers, lol. So I'll take my chances with who I think is the better team at home.

Well, I'll be honest this one is a little out of my normal comfort zone. I very rarely back public home favorites, I have been on the dog's every Thursday and Friday night the last two week's. But I just don't see the reasoning behind backing Iowa State, I think they are pretty poor this year. Tulsa has underachieved so far without a doubt, but they have atleast shown some signs of life.

I'm on the under pretty big for me on the ISU/Tulsa game.

The under in this ISU/Tulsa game looked good until the past 5 minutes of this game. No one wants to play defense anymore.
