sounds like it should be a good game...good luck

but team has no playoff experience at all so I wouldn't surprise me at all if they go up there and get throttled

L. W. Higgins High School is in Marrero, near Westwego. They'll play that game, at West Jefferson, though, as that's the major stadium on the west bank of Jefferson Parish.

St. Augustine is the only historically black Catholic boys high school in the city of New Orleans. They're big up front, the have a BIG, talented freshman running back, Leonard Fournette. He's plenty good, and that line blows holes open for him, or lets him get outside and cut upfield.

They can pass the ball, with good receivers.

Now, who can tell me about Carencro? Our boys play there. They have a stout defense? Stop the run? Brother Martin's bread and butter is RB Dante Butler, who nickels and dimes you to death, with a breakaway for a TD, then nickels and dimes. Before you know it, he's gained 200 yards, it almost lulls you to sleep to watch it.

Have fun with that place. Bring your "gat" just in case something would happen.

Having WM as the 4 seed in 5A is like having Auburn ranked behind Boise State and TCU. Just assanine.

I love how people get mad at the rankings. Like someone looked at West Monroe and chose them to be the 4th seed in 5A.

Everyone knows West Monroe is the best team in 5A. The seeds, however, are chosen based on your own team's W's/L's and the teams that you play on your schedule's W's/L's.

People act like a group of guys get together on a Sunday afternoon, drink beer, and choose seedings based off of opinion.

IMO, it's a very good system and hope it stays the way it is.

I'd put money on WM. They have no fumble-problems this year, they wont lose, probably not even really tested. All games before the finals will be over at half. Final will be over by the end of the third quarter.

I think the only team that has a shot at beating West Monroe, is an Acadiana team on their absolute "A" game.

St. Aug certainly has a shot talent-wise, but they'll blow it and at best make it to the quarters imo.

Believe it or not, STM is definately capable of beating any team thrown at them right now. Acadiana is damn good this year, but STM is better.

And the way it's looking it will be Acadiana vs STM in the semi's if they win out.

Someone told me Acadiana's starting QB was out for the STM game. Is that true?

I haven't really commented on STM because I have absolutely no idea how they look. Haven't seen them once. Looking at scores they look pretty damn good though.
