Trick plays that didn't work and trying to do stuff that just doesn't fit the team. Zachary didn't do nothing that game until the last drive. They absolutely picked apart central and drove the ball 90+ yards for the tying score. Missed the extra point and lost in double overtime. Since the offense has been averaging over 40 a game with 500+ yards of offense. Zacharys running game opens up the passing game and they didn't establish it against central props to them. Acadiana better have some depth at db or Zacharys recievers will expose them. Should be a close game.

ETA: I think they got screwed with the 6th seed. IMO they were atleast top 4 if not as high as a 1.

You can't get screwed with a seed. It's based off of the opponents you play and their record.

East Feliciana will beat Newman, they have a very good team with alot of size and speed.

Schools can't play up, but merge two and play down a year. Nice.

Franklinton's only loss was to a #2 ranked NATIONALLY at the time Abilene Texas squad. I don't think that factors into the La. strength rankings. Otherwise, I don't see how we were so low with Salmen being a #2 seed and us beating that Salmen team.

wasn't a reclassification year..... hardly ever happens.. they won't win state.... though

Real I guess you are right. I'm holding out hope Zachary can play with acadiana. I mean they hung around STM the whole game and if not for a couple injuries would have had a legit shot at beating them. The defense caused 4 turnovers against them. They have a pretty good rush defense the pass defense is suspect. The offense is jeckyl and hyde they could put up 60 or they could struggle like they did against Central. It all depends on how they start the game.

I don't doubt their athleticism, speed and size but I don't know if they'll be able to minimize their mistakes(fumbles and penalties) enough because Newman will definitely be able to take advantage of their mistakes.

It does when you're the 1 seed and you have to play on the road the second week just because the 17 beat the 16. There's barely a difference between those two teams.
And then you have to play it on Saturday night and miss the LSU game.

East Feliciana has a mistake eraser, but they wont make many mistakes. EF has played thru bad calls all season, so that wont effect them. Should be a entertaining game Friday night.
