West Monroe has more talent than any one team in High School Football with more than 15 eventual D1 Players who will play Saturday- And this is conservative honestly.....

at a 28+ point victory for WM. Acadiana is not some simple scrub school that will shake when they hear WM's name. They have been here before and know what it takes. As far as superior coaching,davidson became hc in 04 at AHS and has gone to the state championship 4 times. not saying davidson is the better coach but the real difference will be the S&C of WM through a sanders program. my heart wants an AHS victory but i think WM kicks a fg on the last drive to win the game 24-21.

Shows says this every year from my understanding.Don't get your hopes up too high, because you guys aren't winning by 28 unless Acadiana has 4+ turnovers.

I hope the West Monroe team is as over confident as their fans on here. Acadiana probably isn't as talented as WM is but that is why they play the game.

Acadiana's 4 playoff opponents had a combined record of 43-3 before playing Acadiana. Acadiana outscored them by an average of 44-8
WM's playoff opponents had a combined record of 34-11 (Wesgate only played 9 reg season games) and have outscored them by an average of 35- 12.
I hope WM has as many D1 quality players as you say because they are gonna need every last one of them.......

Paul Turner is head and shoulders the best QB WM has had imo. He and Chucky are the only two though that I think on this team would start for 98/00. Like I said, not trying to take away from this team. They are very, very good. The other two teams won mythical national titles though.

No doubt. He is by far the best running QB of the past 18 years, and can probably throw better than anybody but Maxie. Who obviously couldn't run and wasn't even the starter. Bobby Breen was probably the 2nd best--he ran the option better than anyone of them, and just had HUGE balls. And I think he was a better passer than the offense allowed him to be. But Turner is easily the best overall QB.
And you're right, this team probably gets housed by both the '98 and '00 West Monroe teams. Hell, are they even better than last year's team?
And there's no way we beat Acadiana by 4 touchdowns. That's absurd. They're no Rummel. They've probably played in this game as much as we have in the last 5-6 years.
