The #1 seed will play the lowest point totaled Wild Card team though.
The division wild card team is determined by points, lowest point total team plays #1 seed.

Right. Philly is currently the #3 Metro seed. If the playoffs were to start today, they would play the #2 Metro seed, the Caps. The #1 seeded Penguins, as the top division winner, would play the lowest seeded of the two wild card teams. Right now, that's Toronto. They would cross divisions.

Someone doth protest too much. How many MVPs does Crosby have again?
Anyway, not a pretty goal but Ovechkin scored his 400th tonight, making him the 6th fastest to reach that plateau. It's amazing that he's doing this in a defense-first era.

Dunno, I know he has a gold medal and a stanley cup.
I also know he is the unanimous best player in the world by any expert out there or service and by a wide margin.
Ovechkin isn't even Top 3 anymore and hasn't been for 2 years, sorry bruh.

Last time they polled the experts, they gave Ovechkin the MVP award. You know, the thing given to the best player? He's won it three times.
BTW - the leading scorer of the 2010 Olympic Gold Medal team was Jonathan Toews. He also has two Stanley Cups. The winner of the Conn Smythe for MVP of the Stanley Cup playoffs the year the Penguins won the Cup was Malkin.
Crosby is an excellent player. But the fact you need to overstate your case so much shows how you really feel. Someone is overcompensating.

You're the only one pumping Ovechkin over and over again when he's not even a Top 3 player in the league. It's honestly quite pathetic.
I'm simply stating the fact that Crosby is the best player in the world, and it's unanimous whether it's NHLNetwork, NBC, ESPN, Fox Sports, TSN, whoever you want to poll it wouldn't even be close. You tried to say this a few pages back and quickly got a few responses that it was easily Crosby and you never replied.
Sorry my man, I don't know what else to tell you. I thought I was a pretty big homer, but you're even pushing past me. BTW - Crosby won the gold medal game in OT with a game winner.
But Caps fans having penis envy for Crosby isn't anything new.

Yes, that is a very convincing argument that you are not protesting too much. I seem to remember somebody jumping in a thread on Ovechkin's fur goal night to talk about how great Crosby was and that Malkin was also a better player. Any ideas who that was?
