Very interesting. Zona seemed like the obvious, square play and the books seemed so dug in on that 7 that my untrained eye assumed that the sharp money must have been on UTSA. Thanks for the info

Im pretty sure he works at a Vegas sportsbook. So he must be talking about their line.

And to miller man, it will if it was close to moving in the first place. I looked at different movements last night and first thing this morning. We were the only place close to 6.5, most places were trending towards 7.5 so I just took the 7. I couldn't have jumped on the 6.5.
There are different syndicates that try to act like Billy Walters now, placing a smaller bet to move a line then placing a giant bet the other way when the number's right. It happens more at smaller and independent books.

Had to have been the case, the LVH wouldn't move a football line after 2 dime plays are placed on a side I wouldn't think. Could be wrong though.

Agree. They only had 800 yards of offense a week ago.
UTSA played great against UH, but they were just very opportunistic and turned some turnovers into easy points. They only had around 260 yards of offense. I also think Houston is going to be putrid (or at least they played as such in week 1).
I just think Arizona will be too much for them.

I'd recommend everyone swallow their pride and take UTSA +7 or just stay away. Thurs night road favs rarely cover, and Vegas is almost showing their hand with the line. This is in addition to week 2 being the toughest week of the year.
