I disagree. I think UTs youth on the O line will hurt them drastically. I dont look for UT to score much at all

Looking at tonights game, UNT offense is so bad. They average 3.62 yards per passing attempt and average 3.3 yards per carry on the ground lol. 0 TDs and 4 INT on the season and a completion percentage of 44%.

how much total do you guys normally wager weekly on college football games? I dabble in it and usually have 2-300 riding on a couple games. But was wondering what everyone else wagers weekly.
Ive done 20 a game besides a few to start out just to get my feet wet. In a week or two it will jump a big amount after i have seen these teams and stuff

What's the O/U? I'd look into the over.
56 on 5dimes. Already have 1 unit on it.

Whats everyones thoughts on Houston/BYU. I'm leaning towards Houston at 17.5. Lot of hype and public going with BYU. BYU with huge blowout of Texas last week, may be due for a let down somewhat. Plus, these 2 teams played a close one last year, but BYU is much better than last season, while Houston dropped a good bit. Last year BYU struggled against Utah following last seasons blowout of texas.
had a pretty good week last week going 6-1. Not bad after getting killed the first week

I don't look deep into the teams. I go with the "what have you done lately" approach. BYU passes the eye test, Houston does not. So I have 1 unit on BYU to cover.
Lately I've made all my money on NFL, specifically halves total points and team totals. Might take Steelers over 13.5 1H tonight, or might wait until 2H to make a play.

I feel like the altitude aspect isn't getting enough attention in this game. Dem boys from UH (Who aren't very good this year to start with) are going to be wondering why they're having a hard time catching their breath while chasing around the Mormon Tim Tebow. I like BYU to cover.

Man, NFL is the something I never bet on anyone. It's such a crapshoot for me. I honestly don't think i've ever won a NFL bet.

this is true! I wasn't even thinking about that. Adn like the above poster said, Houston really hasnt shown anything this season. I think BYU, is this seasons "boise"

I'm 2-2 ATS and 6-1 on O/U

Is BYU set for a letdown possibly? Coming off of a very short week, vs a national game where they poured everything into.
Houston has looked bad in only one game. Do you even know who they played last week and what the score was? I dont think they are as bad as everyone thinks. Everyone is just going off of their week 1 performance

Just locked in BYU -10.5 1H. I don't feel that great about it at all but wanted action.
Posted on 9/11/14 at 11:20 am to blades8088
Yea, they played Grambling. And its not like they played a world beater the first week. I'm not saying taking Houston is a bad thing, I actually tend to fade the public on these types of things. But BYU has looked pretty impressive so far this season

Im just playing devils advocate to bring up a different spectrum. I was only stating that everyone saying Houston hasnt shown anything this year was wrong. Just week 1, they beat a grambling team in week 2 like they should have. As well as a possible BYU letdown on a short week. Houston had the oppurtunity to have a little more time to prepare playing a chump team. BYU did not have that luxury.
Posted on 9/11/14 at 11:23 am to TigahFan4Life
I'm likely on UH +17.5 or no play at all.

what do yall think about Kent State getting 32 vs Ohio St.?
Noon game...Buckeyes could either be pissed off or hung over from last week.

I'm with you on this, which is why I'm leaning towards Houston

I agree BYU passes the eye test. They do to me as well. But the eye test is wrong ALOT of times from week to week due to emotion, multiple road trips, and so on. I think Houston is the play tonight. They have many starters back and played BYU very close last year
