Indiana win props them up though
They also beat Penn State on the road

OSU look awful on offense against UM. The play calling was terrible. If that offense shows up in the playoffs they are in big trouble.

6 is their ceiling if UGA and PSU lose. ND is a lock at 5 in that case.

Even though penn state is way overrated it still counts for the buckeyes.

And I’d say Tennessee should be ahead of Ohio State due to the recency of Ohio State’s loss.
UT’s bad loss was also on the road. Ohio State’s was at home.

why should they drop lower than that?
UGA dropped 9 spots for losing at then #16 7-2 Ole Miss (currently #13 & 9-3)
Ohio State only fell 4 after losing at home to an unranked 5 loss Michigan.
You're seriously ok w/that?

those are independent events that are not correlated with each other. they did not occur within the same week, so it's not comparable in any way.
people absolutely love that statement for movement and it never makes any sense at all. that occurred earlier in the season and georgia has appropriately moved all the way back up. ohio state isn't gonna move up from here.

If Georgia loses and PSU gets their asses handed to them by Oregon, they will definitely move up.

I’d wager large amounts of money they will jump Penn State if Oregon wins by 2+ scores

I’m guessing they want Ohio St to avoid playing Oregon Round 2?
Makes no sense they only dropped 4.

Jesus Christ. This sucks
Imagine being triggered by this.
OSU lost to best team in nation by 3 on the road across the country, and lost by 3 at home in a game they were probably better off losing.
If they beat Mich and lose to Oregon, theyd play four playoff games and the conf championship, 5 more games. If they played Ore and won they would play 3 more games plus that game (4 total), by losing, they rest up this week and prep for a home playoff game and play 4 extra games. Net result is no big deal.

This system truly sucks.
I miss these regular season games actually making a difference.

It’s clear now that committee is retarded and only exists to make up new reasons to include the tide

They don’t want Bama at Ohio State. The committee would rather give Bama a gimme in the 1st round if possible.
