I'm going to guess the tzz cubs guy hasn't showed up in this thread. Just a few weeks ago he was arguing how great Penn St. was.

Their problem was firing Solich too soon. They should have let him adapt. Instead they went to the opposite extreme with Bill Callahan and that fricked them all up. Michigan had the same issue when they fired Lloyd Carr too soon and went with Rich Rod but they had another resources to tread water until Harbaugh came along.
