Watching Manziel was fun, though, as a college player.

There was a short window there where he was fun to watch after college too, mostly in a trainwreck fashion. But it got old pretty quickly.

Cam and Joe are like the 2000s thread...Bush and Tebow then everybody else.

3rd would be a lean to RGIII, he was sensational at Baylor.

Henry was the worst Heisman candidate ever
Compared to who should have one

People overlook that Newton didn’t have an offensive teammate that went on to start in the NFL. He didn’t have a teammate that was drafted aside from Lee Ziemba in the 7th round.

Burrow had essentially his entire offense go extremely high in the draft.

You seriously think Henry is #3 when most people don't even think he should've won it?

A better way to do this would be to compare their stats going in to the Heisman Ceremony:

2010 Cam Newton (13 games)

Passing: 160-246-6 for 2,598 yards and 28 TD
Rushing: 242 carries for 1,409 yards and 20 TD
Receiving: 2 catches for 42 yards and 1 TD

2011 Robert Griffin III (12 games)

Passing: 267-369-6 for 3,998 yards and 36 TD
Rushing: 161 carries for 644 yards and 9 TD
Receiving: 1 catch for 15 yards

2012 Johnny Manziel (12 games)

Passing: 273-400-8 for 3,419 yards and 24 TD
Rushing: 184 carries for 1,181 yards and 19 TD

2013 Jameis Winston (13 games)

Passing: 237-349-10 for 3,820 yards and 38 TD
Rushing: 77 carries for 193 yards and 4 TD

2014 Marcus Mariota (13 games)

Passing: 254-372-2 for 3,783 yards and 38 TD
Rushing: 117 carries for 669 yards and 14 TD
Receiving: 1 catch for 26 yards and 1 TD

2015 Derrick Henry (13 games)

Rushing: 339 carries for 1,986 yards and 23 TD
Receiving: 10 catches for 97 yards

2016 Lamar Jackson (12 games)

Passing: 220-382-9 for 3,390 yards and 30 TD
Rushing: 234 carries for 1,538 yards and 21 TD

2017 Baker Mayfield (13 games)

Passing: 262-369-5 for 4,340 yards and 41 TD

Rushing: 123 carries for 892 yards and 11 TD

2019 Joe Burrow (13 games)

Joe Burrow's stats are unreal.

He had a Dan Marino-esque season.

Holy shite has FSU fallen off

Cam easily he carried the offense every week Nick Fairly carried the D weekly too

Still have yet to see 2 more dominant players on a mediocre team

With those 2 woulda been like 6-6

Such a strong decade

This is a really strong decade, although I’m wondering if it’s a byproduct of the offensive explosion we’ve seen in football.

Nonetheless, there are no “meh” winners like we’ve seen from the 90s and 00s list.
