Robertson, Shreve, Green, and Warren will be used a ton and outside of that do they have anyone worth trusting? Cessa, Holder, or German?
Yankees probably have the best bullpen in baseball.

Chapman is still really good.

because the Red Sox were humiliated by the superior team?
Yeah....in the divisional round...
How could you know that but still think they could meet in the WS?

Kahnle is on the 10 day DL, it doesn’t sound too serious. Betances’ walk rate seems back in line with career norms (he is giving up homers like crazy right now, but that’s likely a fluke).
At the end of the day no team has a top 5 as good as Chapman, Robertson, Green, Betances and Kahnle. All those guys are projected to K more than 11.5 per nine. Even with their inflated ERA right now, they are second in FIP and blowing the field away in xFIP. Yankees bullpen currently has a K%-BB% of 25.8%, next closest team is the Astros with 20.7%.
The more I look into this the more I realize I should not have used the qualifier "probably" in my original post in this thread. The Yankees have the best bullpen in baseball.

Yep, and by a wide margin. No one can match their depth of quality arms. Still mad about that White Sox trade.

Beginning of the season is the best time to peak.
Teams peaking is a fallacy.
They will regress a bit to their mean at some point, but has nothing to do with "peaking early."

You're a fallacy bitch.

Mookie Betts hitting another leadoff home run. He's on fire.

I would be pretty concerned about Kahnle...Velocity drop is significant. Was watching Al Yankeezeera postgame the other night, and their worry quotient is palpable.
Bullpens are a fickle lot. I think there is a lot of whistling past the graveyard going on in yankee land.

They said the Sox hadn't played anyone... so they went out to the west coast and beat the then 12-3 Angels by a combined score of 27-4.
Made the phenom their bitch on the mound and at the plate.
