he has NFL talent
ya, i don't think anyone reasonable doubts his talent... the stuff between his ears is what people wonder about

he'll beat out one of them. there both not very good. they have reached their ceiling. ryan has a way higher ceiling and could be better than both of them in the future if he keeps his head straight. i think the vikings know this.

off the field stuff or X's and Os?

he could be a practice squad guy
It isn't likely if the team has 3 qb's on the roster already.

if Favre retires then he has an even beter shot cause Jackson and Rosenfels both blow.
Favre retiring isn't likely and even if he does they will have to bring in someone better to compete with Jackson and Rosenfels.

i dont know why you hate him so much.
He is a huge waste of talent.

He was one of the top 7 or 8 QB in the draft
no he wasn't. That was proven when he wasn't even drafted. Don't give me that crap about character being the reason he wasn't drafted. Teams annually take risks on guys with questionable character if they have shown the talent.

more off the field - but if he's not serious he'll never learn the playbook either... so ultimately it's splitting hairs

so you are saying Ryan P has no talent and thats why he wasnt drafted?

thats why i think going up north will help him. He has nothing else to do but play football.
i think he makes it, if not with Minn, with someone else

no not at all. I'm saying that if he really was the 7th or 8th best qb in the draft he would have been drafted. He has alot of natural talent in terms of arm strength and speed. However, what about his mechanics, accuracy, etc.? Plus he played most of his career at JSU which isn't good. Like I said I'd be surprised if he has improved at all since his days at LSU.

he spent nearly 3 years at LSU.
where is Tavaris Jackson from?

Without looking it up... how good do you think he was at LSU?
I think you're spouting out of your rear blowhole

but as you said only threw 40 passes

Bama state

he was pretty good. Had alot of potential and fans really liked him. He came in for Flynn and won the sec championship game so he must have at least been decent.

guess you finally looked it up then

ok.

how many passes did he throw at ARK before he transfered?
where did he get drafted?
do you think he is more talented coming out of college than Ryan P?

idk. I was way to young to know back then.

then your earlier posts make less sense... with the starting opportunities RP had he played shockingly well. Your earlier posts kept on about he probably hadn't improved from when he was at LSU (and seemed to wrongly assert he spent more time at jack state than LSU)
To me anyone who kept up with the RP saga saw a clear story line... played impressively well wherever and whenever he got on the field... but couldn't stay out of trouble

quote:It wasn't relative to my point although I won't deny it's prevelant. I was actually shocked the first time I heard someone in the stands yelling "We'll never win another national championship with a ________ quarterback".
I notice you didn't address what I said about the "N" bomb on campus though.
My point was that I don't think the assholes care about the QB's skin color anywhere near as much as they care about his ability to help his team win games. Everyone was ready to put Jarret Lee on a bus back to Texas in '08 in favor of Jordan Jefferson.

adam, you are no fun
to answer your question, no, he wasnt better
to say RP wasnt talented enough to get drafted is just stupid and probably one of the dumber things you have ever said(and thats a long list)
