Yeah UConn was a top 20 team entering the tournament that year. And all will be forgiven if they beat Gonzaga tonight.

I wish Muss would have utilized this defensive strategy against UCONN. Have Jackson’s guy just hang in the paint and invite Jackson to take a jumper whenever he wants while all the other defenders play tight and Jackson’s defender is there in the paint to help if they get past.
Jackson isn’t a bad shooter but he’s UCONN’s worst.

They also lost their last regular season game by 33 points. They didn't have a bad midseason stretch, they were just relatively meh. They were ranked around 20th most of the season.
In hindsight, Ollie was a shitty coach too. They're the absolute worst championship team in my lifetime and it isn't close.
