The big righty from Maurepas is legit, they definitely feed off of him. He is a bulldog on the mound and a beast at the plate. I assume he is getting some looks from decent schools?

He's had some looks from D-1 and Mississippi JC's but is probably going to BRCC to work on his game for a couple of years.....

Two of the Simpson kids are probably going JUCO, they have been to BRCC and BPCC.

No. 24 the young pitcher will be a good one. He just wore down Monday.

Were you at the maurepas/Simpson game Meyers?

I was there. Simpson had plenty of opportunities but never could capitalize. 24 is a Sophomore and should be a good one. I liked watching 20 on the mound for Maurepas. He is a kid you don't want to face and would love to have him on your team. Simpson's plan was to not let him beat them and their ego took over when they pitched to him. That HR and getting out of the two jams was huge for Maurepas.

The double play after the strike out when Simpson had the bases loaded With no outs was the deal breaker. You're right about that.

The game was a little closer than the final score depicted.

I am taking nothing away from Maurepas, they played a great game. I see them and Choudrant battling it out for the crown with Maurepas winning.

You going to Alec this weekend Meyers?

BTW, Choudrant beat Maurepas by one run in a game earlier in the year.. It was a great game. Maurepas didn't throw their ace though.....

I wish I could make it but the little one has a tournament. If you get a chance to watch Hicks play, take a look at the big lefty in their lineup. He is in 8th grade and has hit quite a few bombs this year, he has a beautiful stroke. His 3 run shot put them ahead for good in their last game. When they move back to B next year we will have them in our district, it should be quite entertaining.

YeAh I've heard that Hicks has a couple of good players.

maurepas actually moves down to C next year. Kind of dissappointing.
