Think also with Yordan and the infield logjam there just weren’t many starts for him at first or DH. That’s assuming healthy, which I know is a fooling thing to assume with the Astros. 7m is a pretty damn good lick for a purely backup catcher.
Jonah Heim is available (hate the player, but switch hitting vet) as well as Reese McGuire (left handed hitting/getting caught jerking off in a parking lot vet.) Wonder if you could get either of those guys for 2-3m

Cease, Ponce (good in Asia last year), Rogers strengthens an already good pitching staff.
Okamoto we will see about but that’s a plug and play third baseman. Still absolutely one of the best teams in the AL and they could still get in on Bellinger if they want.

They have a logjam in the infield now seemingly. Lindor, Siemien, Vientos, Bichette, Polonco. Guess they can move Vientos for an arm and still sign Bellinger

Mets offer getting leaked and then them getting lockered is pretty funny.
Tucker is an odd ball, but he will thrive where he doesn’t have to be the centerpiece so I’m sure he will go 30/30 if he’s fully healthy

Hopefully there is someone in the front office that can convey this and guide Joe’s hand in making sure everyone gets their share of at bats. You basically got to what I couldn’t in my head whenever Chandler would gnash his teeth and talk down on anyone that said it could not work. It definitely can work with some outside the box thinking and sticking to a plan

Could very well in Cole, think the beauty is you could maybe acquire one that accumulated 13+ WAR over the last two years and still have room for him to grow at one of the corners too.
Again, I’ll reiterate, goal number one for me (not that anyone should or does care what I think) would be to shed Walker/his money and hopefully get something with a pulse for a return. But I also like dreaming on what Isaac could return especially with maybe a desperate org trying to fill the exact profile he has.
