Oops. Yeah, you're right. I thought we were 2.5 GB for some reason.
2.5 GB if we do lose 2/3 is manageable.
NYY remaining schedule: @ Bos, @ Tor, vs Bal, @ LAA, @ SEA, @ Tor, 1 game vs Minn, vs Tampa, vs Boston, @ Tampa
Boston remaining schedule: vs NYY, vs Texas, @ Tor, @ Tampa, vs Tor, vs Tampa, vs Balt, @ NYY, @ Balt
Schedules are pretty even for the most part, with most of the remaining games playing each other, Toronto and Tampa.
Biggest swing series' in my opinion are @ LAA for us, and vs Texas for Boston.

If CC pitches like he has against Boston all season, there is a good chance Boston gets the sweep.

Breaking News: Alex Rodriguez has a sprained vagina and is out for the season.

I'm HEAVY on the Yanks tonight. Need CC to get his mojo and swagger back.
Think a run or two in the top of the 1st could do wonders to help. Hoping that Gardner bats with confidence tonight - his swing has been atrocious lately - a real pop up machine.

Don't count on it.
Gardner/Jeter will both ground out softly, and Granderson will strike out.

Why in holy frick does NESN schedule the fricking Jimmy Fund nights for the biggest series of the year?
Jesus fricking Christ. I don't want to hear depressing interviews about cancer victims when I'm trying to enjoy a game that I have huge money on.
Schedule this shite for a Royals series in May for Christsake.
I'm thinking about upgrading to MLB premium so I can get the visiting team's feed.

Do it.
The Yankees guys are a tad annoying... but the coverage is excellent, IMO.

I have it on my iPhone so I might just tough it out on the NESN feed or watch YES on my iPhone.

This lineup is far too predictable.

do you think Granderson is that good of an actor?
I mean the reaction was instantaneous - obviously it got SOME of the bat knob but it clearly got some flesh as well.

Better just call it a strikeout otherwise PJ will come in here complaining about how the MLB is trying to get the Yankees more AB's.

CC dealin' tonight. Haven't seen him this sharp in a while. That fastball has his old heft to it.

Nothing I hate more than not scoring a runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs.
ETA - except AJ Burnett

i am 100% convinced this Yankee lineup could make AJ Burnett look like Roy Halladay
yea I said it

I hate Posada not batting 9th. No way this inning-killer should be hitting so close to the heart of the order. Too much runnage for him to squander in the 8 spot.

Can't wait till Montero is the DH in the playoffs

I'd honestly rather have Chavez or Nunez but we'll see how he fares on his return.
Chavez is a damn good veteran hitter although he doesn't seem to have much pop anymore.
