Some of this is on coaching and player development as well. A whole lot of highly ranked recruits that look unplayable and a whole lot of players that haven’t shown any progression.

Baseball America posted their top 2027 draft prospects a couple days ago. Evans and Schmidt came in at #6 and #7 overall. #4 and #5 pitchers.

You have plays against lefties where they shift the second baseman over to shallow RF, but they don’t bring the SS over to the 2B side. You have players switching shift position mid AB. Why the frick is Milam ever playing the shallow RF spot. It’s just insane

Milam is the only thing keeping this from being the worst defensive infield ever assembled. Every single recruit and transfer added to this roster last offseason is a god awful defender.
