Post-season Rotation

1) Sabathia
2) Nova
3) Colon
4) Garcia

Hughes - never

And I actually think Burnett could be pretty good in relief for an inning here or there. He'd just have to get acclimated to doing that.

Eh. If we avoid Boston somehow it could win the AL.

Those are 4 solid pitchers.

I can't really trust Nova or Garcia against a top lineup.

Boston is just so much better. I can see the Yankees winning the 1st round, but I couldn't see them beating Boston or Philly. But anything can happen in a 7 game series so I hope I'm wrong.

I could see this, but I think ya'll lose to either Texas or Detroit. We are looking at Philly/Boston this year IMO.

Boston really isn't so much better.

Yankees shouldn't lose to Detroit.

They could lose to Texas without homefield.

I'm still holding out hope for a Chicago/New York ALDS.

Not if Verlander is the MVP right? I kinda like the Brewers pick though even if it was a joke.

Detroit's rotation is nothing special outside of Verlander.

And the Brewers pick isn't a joke. They now present a 2nd threat to the Phillies in the National League. Too bad the Phillies will only have to go through one of them.

The Yankees OWN Texas this year. If we draw Detroit in the ALDS, then I can see Texas beating Boston and a Texas vs. NY ALCS again.

Not really mad about last nights game. I chalked it up to be a loss before the series began.

I also chalked tonight up as a loss, but I think a series win would be huge for the Yankees tonight.

Garcia maybe.. but Nova? Come on. He struggled vs Boston early in the season yes, but I don't think anyone can argue he's a much better pitcher than he was. Credit that to the slider.

No starts against Detroit. Two total runs in 14 IP against the White Sox. Four runs in 11.2 IP against Texas. What more can you ask for?

Very. Coming outta Boston .5 game back? That'd be great.

I wonder how Nipple Rings would do in relief. Guys like Wakefield I think do well because it is only 1-2 innings and in starts he looks good but unravels. AJ just fricking sucks. Period. Hughes will be a pen guy though, he did great in 2009.
