I agree but I also agree with Saban’s take even though he was pimping for Bama that SMU shouldn’t have been ranked that high going into that game to begin with.

Had the 4th down conversion on the ground earlier but threw it incomplete instead. Dumb tipped pick later. Both those plays were at the goal line.

Teams getting blasted in the first round of a 12 team playoff is not some terrible crime. It’s just natural selection at work.

Yeah I didn’t think IU or SMU were very good, but I didn’t have a lot of proof that they couldn’t hang.
