Minneapolis is Boston in a cornfield. I have no idea why, but their general-attitude is unlike anything around them; even Chicago has more of a blue-dog mentality

This is Going to Hurt is one of the better anecdotal-gay shows I've seen.

As far as 'gay movies' (ie. media about gay experience), my personal favorites

God's Own County
A Single Man
Love, Simon (probably the most accurate for late millennials)
Cuatro Lunas (also quite honest)
Brokeback Mountain (though obvious)

You guys are seriously overestimating this

There's plenty of objectively good gay content out there; Heated Rivalry is not one of them

This show is 100% someone's secret fanfic about Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin. It's even very much in bad fanfic form, at least for the first few episodes; skipping massive amounts of time just to get to the next sex scene. They threw in a bunch of subplots to try to conceal it, but its origins are pretty transparent imo. It takes a very long time for it to feel like an actual story

Anyway, Boots was a better show as a show but Heated Rivalry does achieve its purpose quite well. I did enjoy it, but I can't imagine why this show has mass appeal beyond gays

I do know I liked the first two seasons but I legitimately can't name more than two or three things that even happened, and I'm not sure I feel like watching the whole thing over again.

Thursday/Friday prime time was the best option available. Guess they could have scheduled them for 11 AM on Sat & Sunday, but even then, NFL pregame coverage would’ve cost them massive viewership.

There's still a better way to handle this than just 'oh well'-ing the NFL as they gradually take every single day of the week

Eliminate CCGs (happening anyway eventually)
1st Saturday Dec.- Round 1
2nd Saturday Dec.- Round 2
3rd Saturday Dec.- Round 3
NYD- Championship

First season was actually decent and the end was surprisingly graphic. The show becomes completely ridiculous after season 1, just so you're aware. It's basically Pretty Little Liars with the production quality of Degrassi
There's no way Nebraska is more valuable than Penn State or LSU

There's enough for anyone who knows what he's doing to build a team. We aren't the Yankees and we need to stop trying to out-Texas the Texas schools; it's just a recipe for failure. Thus far, there's very little evidence the sheer amount of money has any impact on wins/losses, especially with wide receivers.

The portal absolutely creates a false demand in a lot of instances
Huge credit to Oregon #22 there- he didn't have to give that effort
Maybe feeling a bit better tonight, but we still had plenty of awful games that weren't against Indiana

There was no way to know they were this legit until the playoffs.

No one wanted to listen

This the most impressive turnaround I've ever seen, considering where Indiana was.

And in just two years. It took Bill Snyder 5 years just to make a bowl
